Hi, I definitely am enjoying your skills with keeping a consistantly light source, your use age of color has a photorealistic feel. The seem being overcast evokes a mood almost a bit gloomy. The mood has been captured if sorrow is the desired affect.it reminds me a bit of Thomas Coles "Ox bow" painting in composition. He is a painter I catch myself refuring to as I grow in my own land scape compositions. I can tell nothing in your work is as simple as tube to canvas, and that is a richly desired trait for many enthusiasts right now. The work is very beautiful . I think some shapes in the fore ground would really add interest, possably some complimentary colored flowers, or something redish, yellowish to touch off the scene with a mood change, if your desighn of the works content will permitted it. It really is beautiful, and mature work. Thomas cole be an artist you will enjoy studying.i am sure you already view his work.it is reminiscent of his work in my opinion.
I feel a rain storm coming on in this painting. The colors are wonderful for the scenery, and I just feel like I'm in minecraft world on a cold rainy night. Watch out! You might see a skeleton or numerous of them with bow and arrow lurking around those trees!
